fourth of july counting activity

This fourth of July counting activity is a super low prep activity that you can do with the kids this week. Not only is it perfect for boosting those fine motor skills, but it’s a great way to practice counting.

Print the activity onto cardstock for best results. Then cut down the center to separate the cards.

There are several options you can use as manipulatives for choosing the answer…

  • Clip the answer with clothespins
  • Roll a play dough ball, place it on the answer and squish it with your index finger
  • Use a hole punch to punch the answer several times…great for hand strengthening
  • Place any small toy or block on the answer
  • Get out the pompoms and tongs
  • Draw over it with a big X
